About Nordkraft

Nordkraft is a dietary supplement brand for men aged 40+ in the German market.

We are looking for a Philippines-based virtual assistant who speaks and writes German confidently. Your main responsibility will be to find suitable German micro-influencers on Instagram, start personalised conversations with them and manage follow-ups.

You will also respond to incoming messages from German-speaking customers on Instagram and Facebook.

This is not a mass-messaging role and not a traditional social media management position. We need someone who understands how Germans communicate and can write naturally without sounding translated, generic or overly formal.

Responsibilities
Instagram influencer outreach
Find German micro-influencers according to provided criteria.
Evaluate whether their content and audience fit our target customer.
Find available contact information.
Prepare personalised first messages in German.
Follow the communication flows and message guidelines provided by Nordkraft.
Manage replies and follow-ups.
Arrange the shipment of free product samples.
Keep contact details, conversation status and next steps updated in a working spreadsheet.
Respond to incoming Instagram messages from German-speaking users.

Facebook customer communication
Respond to incoming private messages from German-speaking users.
Use the product information, templates and brand guidelines provided by Nordkraft.
Escalate medical, product-specific, conflict-related or unclear questions to the team.
Record recurring questions and customer concerns.

You will not be responsible for creating content, designing posts, publishing social media content or running paid advertising.

Requirements
German proficiency at C1 level or higher, or demonstrably near-native written and spoken German.
Natural written German without an obvious machine-translated or textbook style.
English proficiency at B2 level or higher for internal communication with the team.
Previous experience communicating regularly with customers, colleagues or business partners from Germany.
Ability to write genuinely personalised messages instead of sending the same template to everyone.
Strong attention to detail when working with contacts, statuses and follow-ups.
Ability to follow communication flows and avoid improvising unsupported product claims.
Reliability, independence and respect for agreed deadlines.
Stable internet connection and a suitable computer for remote work.
Residence in the Philippines.

German nationality is not required. We care about your actual language level and your understanding of modern German communication.

Nice to have
Experience in customer support, sales, account management or influencer outreach.
Experience working with Instagram, Facebook or Meta Business Suite.
Experience researching partners, creators, leads or potential customers.
Previous residence, study or work experience in Germany.
Goethe-Zertifikat C1/C2, TestDaF or another recognised German-language qualification.
Experience working remotely with an international team.
Working conditions
Fully remote, long-term contractor role.
Approximately 2 hours per weekday / 10 hours per week.
The workday is divided into two short communication windows.
Some availability during German business hours and German late afternoon is required. This may include a late-evening check-in in Philippine time.
Exact working windows will be agreed before hiring.
Hourly rate: USD 6.50–8.50, depending on German proficiency, experience and ability to work independently.
Clear instructions, outreach criteria, message flows and product materials will be provided.
Paid practical assignment for final candidates.
Opportunity to increase weekly hours as the communication workload grows.
Selection process
Short application describing your experience communicating with German customers, colleagues or partners.
Asynchronous video interview in German and a simple 10–15 minute assignment.
Paid practical assignment: find several suitable Instagram creators and prepare personalised outreach messages.
Short live interview in German.
