JOB OVERVIEW

What we build:
Automations for e-commerce sellers on ---------- : reporting, inventory signals, review monitoring, and a pipeline that turns one product number into a full set of listing images. One platform, one library per automation, a manifest per client.

Your work:
> Design and build new automations end to end: calculation logic as pure functions, orchestration around it, a config schema with no fallback values, a dashboard page that shows the result
> Tame third-party APIs that misbehave, pagination, 429s, expiring tokens, retries
> Test everything against our sandbox with fake numbers before a client ever touches it
> Propose tools yourself. Sometimes you get a concept, sometimes the idea is yours

Claude Code is the default here
We're AI-first, and not in a buzzword way:
> You write specs an agent can execute
> You review generated code critically instead of shipping it blind
> We build LLMs into the automations themselves
> You keep up with new models and agentic tooling, and bring it to the team

If you still type every line by hand, you'll be too slow for this.

Terms
> 40 hours/week, $1500 – $2500/month depending on experience
> 1 month trial, then a minimum 6-month contract
> Regular raises based on what you're worth
> I've worked with Filipino teams for years and visit regularly. I'll be in the Philippines in January and would like to meet in person
> Fully async, 4+ hours weekday overlap with CET (Netherlands)

You're a fit if
> TypeScript and Node at a real level, strict mode, ESM, no framework needed
> You know why create table if not exists is dangerous against an existing database
> Your tests capture why a rule exists, not that it exists
> Your commit messages explain the tradeoff, not the diff
> You say "this is wrong" about existing code instead of working around it
> You do a dry run before touching anything that could reach production data
> VS Code is your editor
> Your written English holds up in detailed async technical discussion

Not a fit if you want to add a framework in week one, write tests that restate the implementation, or need someone checking in on you daily.

Nice to have: Google Sheets API, Playwright, Docker, LLMs as a pipeline step rather than a chatbot.

How to apply
Don't reply here, I only read applications from the form. All questions are in there, about 7 minutes:
>> ----------

1. You hear fro ---------- within 3 working days
2. If I message you, you're in my top 4
3. Short paid test assignment
4. Yes or no, straight after
