JOB OVERVIEW

~~~About the role~~~
We are an Australian business group operating across poker entertainment, hospitality venue partnerships and real estate.
~~~Our brands currently include:~~~

WPT League Illawarra (established; venue entertainment, being texas hold'em (enticing people to attend venue))
124 Poker Coffs Harbour (NEW; venue entertainment, being texas hold'em (enticing people to attend venue))
124 Poker Port Macquarie (NEW; venue entertainment, being texas hold'em (enticing people to attend venue))
124 Poker Venue Partnerships (NEW; venue entertainment (enticing decision-makers AT venues to be willing to get 124 Poker as their texas hold'em poker provider))
Mitchell Walkerden at Dimosons (established; real estate agent in Port Kembla. Not the whole company - specifically Mitchell Walkerden)

We are looking for a genuinely creative and commercially minded Social Media Content & Community Manager. This is not a basic virtual assistant position and it is not a role for somebody who simply generates generic captions and places them into Canva templates.

You will have access to real photos, videos, event footage, results, testimonials, venue information and other source material. Your job will be to turn those assets into authentic, engaging and brand-specific content.

~~~Responsibilities~~~
Develop and maintain content calendars across multiple brands
Create Facebook, Instagram and TikTok content
Edit short-form videos, Reels, Stories and TikToks
Produce still graphics and promotional material using Canva
Write natural captions that reflect each brand’s actual voice
Schedule and publish content consistently
Respond to comments, mentions and selected messages
Develop non-event-related poker content that keeps audiences engaged between announcements
Help grow relevant local audiences, rather than chasing meaningless followers
Repurpose genuine footage and information into multiple content formats
Research relevant trends without blindly copying them
Work closely with our paid advertising specialist
Review performance and recommend practical improvements
Maintain organised source files, drafts and approved content
~~~Use of AI~~~

We support the intelligent use of AI for research, ideation, transcription, editing assistance and improving efficiency.

We do not accept lazy AI-generated content.

Generic captions, fake testimonials, fabricated images, repetitive templates, AI avatars and content that could belong to any business are not acceptable. The finished work must feel specific, human and authentic.

~~~What we are looking for~~~
Proven experience managing business social media accounts
Strong written English
Strong judgement regarding tone, authenticity and audience
Ability to edit engaging short-form video
Good visual instincts
Ability to manage several related brands without making them all look identical
Reliable organisation and communication
Willingness to learn about poker, hospitality venues and Australian real estate
Commercial thinking, rather than focusing only on likes and followers
~~~How to apply~~~

Please provide:

Links to three social media accounts you have worked on
A clear explanation of what you personally did for each account
Three examples of content you personally created
Any measurable results you helped produce
A short video introducing yourself and explaining what makes social media content feel authentic rather than generic or AI-generated
Three initial content ideas for 124 Poker entering a new Australian region

Begin your application with the words AUTHENTIC CONTENT so we know you have read the full advertisement.
