JOB OVERVIEW

I am seeking a highly organized and knowledgeable Virtual Assistant to help transform more than 20 years of experience in risk management, regulatory compliance, audit, governance, cybersecurity and financial services into structured, practical and revenue-generating training products.

This is NOT a general administrative VA role. The ideal candidate should understand risk, compliance, cybersecurity, governance and artificial intelligence fundamentals, and be able to convert complex subject-matter expertise into clear, teachable content.

The initial objective is to develop a foundational course for a mixed professional audience, followed by advanced and role-specific training programs. The training will focus on responsible AI adoption, privacy, cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, risk management, safety, accountability and appropriate AI guardrails.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct structured interviews to extract my professional knowledge, experience, frameworks and practical lessons
- Organize information into a clear knowledge base and curriculum structure
- Develop beginner-to-advanced course outlines with learning objectives, exercises, assessments and quizzes
- Convert interviews, notes and research into course materials, including presentation slides, facilitator guides, participant workbooks, checklists and templates, case studies, quizzes and assessments, and video and webinar outlines
- Research current developments in AI governance, risk, compliance, privacy, audit and cybersecurity
- Maintain a credible source library and identify course content requiring updates
- Help compare and configure course platforms, learning management systems, payment tools, certificates, digital badges and learner analytics
- Support the creation of landing pages, course descriptions, lead magnets, email content and other marketing materials
- Apply privacy, confidentiality, copyright, data protection and responsible AI guardrails throughout the content development process
- Maintain organized project files, task trackers, templates, naming conventions and version control

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Working knowledge of risk management, compliance, audit, governance, cybersecurity, privacy or responsible AI
- Experience in instructional design, curriculum development, technical writing, research or online course production
- Strong written English and the ability to simplify complex professional concepts
- Strong interviewing, research, documentation and organizational skills
- Experience creating presentations, workbooks, training materials, quizzes or professional reports
- Familiarity with AI tools and responsible AI practices
- Ability to verify information and distinguish credible sources from unsupported AI-generated content
- Strong attention to detail, reliability and the ability to work independently
- Commitment to confidentiality, ethical conduct and intellectual property protection

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in banking, financial services, healthcare, technology, government, consulting or another regulated industry
- Familiarity with frameworks such as NIST, ISO, COBIT, COSO, enterprise risk management, third-party risk or AI governance
- Experience with Microsoft 365, PowerPoint, Canva, Notion, Google Workspace, Zoom, learning management systems or course platforms
- Experience supporting consultants, trainers, coaches or subject-matter experts
- Basic video, audio, webinar or online course production experience
- Experience with certificates, digital badges or continuing education programs

INITIAL PROJECTS
The selected VA will initially help:
- Create a structured process for extracting and organizing my professional knowledge
- Develop a foundational course titled approximately "Responsible AI Foundations: Governance, Risk, Compliance, Privacy and Cybersecurity"
- Convert one interview or topic into a sample course module containing a lesson outline, slide presentation, facilitator notes, learner exercise, workbook content, and a quiz or assessment
- Compare suitable platforms for hosting, selling and managing online training
- Create a basic privacy, security, consent and responsible AI checklist for the training business
- Develop an initial landing page structure and go-to-market plan

MEASURES OF SUCCESS
Success in this role will be measured by your ability to:
- Accurately convert professional knowledge into teachable content
- Produce clear, organized and commercially usable training materials
- Understand and communicate risk, compliance, cybersecurity, governance and AI concepts
- Identify gaps, unsupported claims, confidentiality concerns and outdated information
- Maintain well-organized documentation and reliable project workflows
- Help create training products that can be delivered live, online and through self-paced learning
- Support the development of a scalable and revenue-generating training business

ENGAGEMENT
This is a gig / project-based engagement to start: approximately 10 hours per week at $4/hour. If the work goes well there is room for more.

- Saturday: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM Eastern (Saturday 10:00 PM - Sunday 7:00 AM, Philippine time)
- Sunday: 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM Eastern (Monday 3:00 AM - 7:00 AM, Philippine time)
