- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other balance sheet accounts.
- Ensure financial records are complete, organized, and audit-ready.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc financial reports for leadership.
- Support variance analysis, budget-to-actual reporting, and cash flow tracking.
- Assist in consolidating financial information across entities or operating units where required.
- Partner with leadership to improve visibility into performance, spending, and operational drivers.
- Help maintain reporting packages that support data-driven decision-making.
- Assist with accounting across multiple legal entities, including management company, investment vehicles, and operating businesses as needed.
- Support transaction-related accounting, entity setup, and financial record integration.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external accountants, tax advisors, or auditors.
- Maintain supporting schedules related to ownership, loans, allocations, and intercompany balances.
- Build and refine accounting workflows, close processes, and documentation standards.
- Help establish internal controls and approval processes for expenditures, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Recommend improvements to systems, templates, and financial processes to support scale.
- Contribute to a more institutional, process-oriented finance function.
- Assist with tax support, annual filings, 1099s, and audit requests in coordination with outside advisors.
- Maintain organized financial documentation and support compliance with internal policies.
- Ensure sensitive financial information is handled with discretion and integrity.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience in private equity, real estate, multi-entity environments, professional services, or high-growth operating businesses.
- Strong foundation in general ledger accounting, reconciliations, monthly close, and financial reporting.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, or similar accounting platforms.
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets capability.
- Experience with expense management, bill pay, and document management tools.
- Comfort working in a data-driven, systems-oriented environment.

- Process-oriented and highly organized.
- Able to balance accuracy with speed in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong judgment, discretion, and professional integrity.
- Comfortable operating in an entrepreneurial business that is building systems and scale.
