We are seeking a forward-thinking, AI-augmented Part-Time Google Ads Specialist to manage and optimize two Google Ad Grant accounts for our nonprofit organization. Each account receives $10,000/month in advertising credit, and we want someone who leverages modern AI tools — particularly Claude Code — to work smarter, move faster, and deliver measurable results.
This is not a role for someone who follows Google's automated recommendations blindly. We want a strategic, data-driven operator who uses AI to automate the grunt work and focuses their time on what actually drives conversions.
Responsibilities
- AI-Assisted Campaign Management: Use Claude Code (or equivalent AI tools) connected to our Google Ads accounts to streamline keyword research, ad copy creation, bid management, and campaign restructuring across both Grant accounts.
- Bulk Ad Generation: Leverage AI to generate and test ad variations at scale — building SKAGs (Single Keyword Ad Groups) and ensuring every ad asset is tightly matched to user intent.
- Grant Compliance: Monitor and maintain both accounts to meet all Google Ad Grants requirements (minimum 5% CTR, active conversion tracking, prohibited keyword avoidance). Use automated alerts and scripts where possible.
- Negative Keyword Mining: Run ongoing AI-assisted negative keyword workflows to continuously prune wasted spend and improve relevance scores.
- Search vs. Performance Max Strategy: Apply structured judgment (not just Google's suggestions) on when to use Search campaigns vs. Performance Max — prioritizing control and profitability.
- Tracking & Analytics: Maintain accurate conversion tracking via GA4 and Google Tag Manager. Build or maintain a custom reporting view that tracks true ROAS, not just Google's default metrics.
- Automation Workflows: Set up and maintain lightweight automations (n8n,
- Landing Page Alignment: Ensure ad messaging is tightly matched to landing page content to maximize Quality Scores and conversion rates.
- Reporting: Deliver concise monthly reports covering grant utilization, top search terms, CTR trends, conversion milestones, and AI workflow improvements made.
Required Experience
- Google Ads Expertise: Proven track record in Search Ads with a profitability-first mindset.
- AI Tool Proficiency: Hands-on experience using Claude Code, ChatGPT, or similar AI tools to assist with Google Ads tasks — campaign builds, audits, copy generation, or data analysis.
- Google Ad Grants Knowledge: Direct experience managing nonprofit Grant accounts and navigating their specific restrictions.
- Analytical Skills: Strong proficiency in GA4, conversion event setup, and building meaningful performance dashboards.
- Automation Experience: Familiarity with at least one workflow automation tool (n8n,
- Communication: Strong written English for ad copy, reporting, and async updates.
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)
- Experience with SKAGs and pinned headline strategies in Responsive Search Ads
- Familiarity with GitHub or Vercel for tracking/script deployment
- Experience with GoHighLevel, Airtable, or ClickUp for campaign project management
Work Schedule & Budget
- Role Type: Part-Time (approx. 5–10 hours per week, depending on account needs)
- Location: Remote (OnlineJobsPH)
- Schedule: Flexible, with a required weekly async check-in and responsiveness during your declared working hours
- Rate: $5–$8/hour depending on experience and AI tool proficiency
