CLIENT & CREATIVE OPERATIONS MANAGER

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are hiring a full-time Client & Creative Operations Manager to oversee the workflow between our clients and art team.
This is not a basic administrative VA position. It is a client-facing, creatively involved role that requires excellent communication, strong organization, attention to detail, and a genuine eye for fashion and design.
You will communicate directly with clients, understand their ideas, collect references, prepare clear instructions for our artists, review completed artwork, and manage revisions through final approval.
After training, you should be able to independently manage the client-to-artwork process while maintaining our standards for communication, organization, and design quality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage daily communication with clients through text, email, and other platforms.
Build professional and reliable relationships with clients.
Collect design ideas, garment references, inspiration photos, logos, colors, and project requirements.
Ask clear questions when a client’s vision or feedback is incomplete.
Translate client ideas into organized and actionable creative briefs.
Assign artwork and revisions to members of the art team.
Communicate client expectations and design direction clearly to artists.
Review all artwork and garment mockups before sending them to clients.
Identify spelling mistakes, incorrect colors, placement issues, inconsistencies, and other quality concerns.
Determine whether artwork is visually strong, fashionable, balanced, and aligned with the client’s original vision.
Collect client feedback and communicate revisions accurately to the art team.
Keep revision rounds organized and ensure important details are not lost.
Track active projects, deadlines, approvals, and required next steps.
Follow up with clients and artists to prevent delays.
Maintain organized artwork files, project records, references, and approval notes.
Learn our garments, design standards, client base, production process, and overall business.
Gradually take complete ownership of the client and artwork management process.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Excellent written and spoken English.
Strong customer service and client communication skills.
Exceptional organization and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously.
A strong eye for fashion, apparel, branding, artwork, and visual quality.
Ability to give artists clear, specific, and constructive feedback.
Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator and common artwork file types.
Ability to open, review, and understand Illustrator files. Advanced graphic design skills are helpful but not required.
Ability to learn apparel terminology, garment specifications, and production processes.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Dependable, responsive, and able to complete tasks without constant reminders.
Reliable internet connection and a professional remote-work environment.
Full availability during the required US working hours.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Experience in fashion, apparel, graphic design, merchandising, printing, manufacturing, or e-commerce.
Experience managing graphic designers or other creative professionals.
Experience communicating with US-based clients.
Experience in customer success, account management, creative operations, or project management.
Familiarity with custom apparel, garment mockups, screen printing, embroidery, or cut-and-sew production.
Experience with Adobe Illustrator, Google Drive, and project-management tools.

WHO WILL SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE
The ideal candidate is both creative and highly organized.
You should be able to review a design and recognize when it looks weak, unbalanced, incomplete, or inconsistent with the client’s references. You should also be confident communicating with both clients and artists.
Clients must feel understood and supported. Artists must receive clear, organized, and actionable instructions.
We will provide training on our products, workflow, communication style, and quality standards. However, we are looking for someone who wants to learn the entire business and eventually manage this department with confidence and minimal supervision.

SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATION
Full-time remote position.
Monday through Friday.
9:00 AM–5:00 PM Eastern Time.
Fixed monthly salary based on qualifications and experience.
Additional paid overtime opportunities may be available.
Long-term position with opportunities for increased responsibility and growth.
