JOB OVERVIEW

WORDPRESS LOCAL SEO & AEO SPECIALIST

Spa Eves LLC is a boutique massage, scalp-spa and skin-wellness business located in Austin, Texas. We are hiring a part-time WordPress Local SEO and Answer Engine Optimization specialist to improve our website’s technical health, local search visibility and ability to appear in AI-generated answers.

This is not a general content-writing or social-media position. We need someone who can audit, implement, measure and document technical website and search improvements.

ENGAGEMENT

•Gig/project-based
•Up to 10 hours per week
•30-day paid project, maximum 40 hours
•Any work beyond 40 hours requires written approval
•Potential part-time work after successful completion

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Audit our WordPress website for technical, SEO and conversion issues
• Improve site speed, mobile usability and Core Web Vitals
• Correct title tags, meta descriptions, headings, internal links and image optimization
• Review indexing, crawlability, sitemaps, redirects and broken links
• Optimize service and location pages for local search intent
• Improve website structure for massage, scalp-spa, facial and wellness searches
• Implement appropriate LocalBusiness, Organization, Service, FAQ and Breadcrumb structured data
• Strengthen entity information and business-detail consistency
• Improve content for featured snippets and conversational search questions
• Create clear, factual answers for Google and AI-powered answer engines
• Connect and maintain Google Search Console, Google Analytics and Bing Webmaster Tools
• Review Google Business Profile website alignment
• Identify useful local citations and backlink opportunities
• Build reporting dashboards for rankings, organic traffic, calls, forms and bookings
• Document all changes and create website-maintenance SOPs
• Coordinate with the owner before changing prices, services, claims or major website layouts

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• Hands-on WordPress management
• Technical SEO and on-page SEO
• Local SEO for service-area or location-based businesses
• Schema markup and structured data
• Google Search Console and Google Analytics
• Keyword and search-intent research
• Website speed and mobile optimization
• Internal-link and content-architecture improvements
• Clear documentation of changes
• Strong written English and attention to factual accuracy

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Spa, salon, wellness, medical-spa, healthcare or local service businesses
• Rank Math, Yoast or similar WordPress SEO plugins
• Google Business Profile optimization
• Bing Webmaster Tools
• Looker Studio
• Conversion tracking
• Local citation cleanup
• AEO, generative-engine optimization or AI-search visibility research
