I purchased a high-resolution Hulk STL from CGTrader and need an experienced Blender artist with large-format FDM 3D printing experience to prepare the model for printing on an Elegoo OrangeStorm Giga.
This is not a simple modeling project. I'm looking for someone who understands structural engineering, print preparation, and designing large statues that will be strong, easy to assemble, and built to last.

What I Need
1. Inspect and Repair the Model
Inspect the STL for any errors.
Repair non-manifold geometry if necessary.
Make sure every part is watertight and fully printable.
Ensure the model is optimized for large-format FDM printing.
2. Scale the Statue
Scale the entire statue to exactly:
9 feet tall (2743.2 mm)
Maintain perfect proportions while scaling.
3. Engineer an Internal Support System
Design the strongest possible internal frame for a permanent indoor display.
I do NOT want a simple pipe running through the middle.
I want someone experienced to determine the best support system.
Examples include:
EMT conduit
Steel tubing
Threaded rod
Hybrid support system
The support system should:
Support the entire weight of the statue
Prevent leaning over time
Prevent twisting
Be hidden completely inside the statue
Be practical to assemble after printing
Please determine the best design based on experience.
4. Create Internal Support Channels
Using Blender Boolean operations:
Create all internal holes/channels needed for the support frame.
The channels should:
Fit the recommended support material
Allow easy assembly
Maintain maximum structural strength
Avoid weakening thin areas
5. Determine Which Areas Should Be Hollow or Solid
Recommend the best wall thickness.
Determine which sections should remain solid for strength.
Recommend:
Wall thickness
Infill percentage
Number of walls/perimeters
Top and bottom layers
Goal:
Strong while minimizing filament usage.
6. Divide the Statue into Printable Sections
Split the model into pieces optimized specifically for the Elegoo OrangeStorm Giga.
The cuts should:
Hide seams as much as possible
Make assembly easy
Reduce print failures
Minimize supports
Maximize strength
7. Add Alignment Features
Add alignment keys/pins where needed so every piece fits together accurately.
The assembled statue should require minimal adjustment.
8. Reinforce Weak Areas
Identify any weak areas.
Modify them if necessary.
Examples:
Ankles
Wrists
Shoulders
Neck
Thin armor/details
9. Deliverables
