TikTok Shop Video Editor & Social Media Assistant

I'm looking for a talented, detail-oriented Video Editor & Social Media Assistant to join our growing team. Our business focuses on creating high-performing TikTok Shop content, and we're looking for someone who understands what makes short-form videos engaging and converts viewers into customers.

This is a long-term opportunity for the right person. We value reliability, communication, and someone who takes pride in producing polished work quickly.

Responsibilities

- Edit short-form videos for TikTok Shop, TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
- Turn around completed edits within 24–48 hours.
- Remove pauses, mistakes, filler words, and unnecessary content while maintaining a natural flow.
- Add captions, text overlays, zooms, sound effects, transitions, and other elements that improve viewer retention.
- Understand pacing, hooks, and storytelling for social media.
- Organize project files and communicate clearly about deadlines.
- Assist with other social media tasks as needed, including scheduling posts and basic content management.

What We're Looking For

- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Strong understanding of conversational English so you know what should be cut, what should stay, and how to make videos sound natural.
- Experience editing TikTok, Reels, or Shorts using CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar software.
- Familiarity with TikTok Shop is strongly preferred.
- Understanding of social media trends, viewer retention, and viral editing techniques.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines consistently.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to accept feedback.

Bonus Skills

- Experience with TikTok Shop affiliate content.
- Canva experience.
- AI editing tools (CapCut AI, ChatGPT, etc.).
- Experience creating thumbnails or social media graphics.

- Fast turnaround (24–48 hours).
- Clean, professional edits with minimal revisions.
- Videos that feel engaging, fast-paced, and optimized for TikTok.
- Proactive communication and reliability.
