We are seeking a sophisticated Video Editor who takes full ownership of their work, crafts highly engaging narratives, and delivers client-ready, polished edits from day one. Responsibilities & Workflow

Deliver Client-Ready First Cuts: Produce a 95% complete first cut within 48 hours of project kickoff, complete with full story structure, smooth pacing, B-roll, motion graphics, audio sweetening, color correction, and burned-in captions.
Deliver Short-Form Content: Reframe long-form projects into high-performing vertical ($9\times16$) shorts and promotional edits.

Thorough Quality Control: Self-QC every exported file end-to-end to ensure zero technical mistakes (e.g., audio sync issues, spelling errors, missing graphics, or improper rendering).
Creative Iteration: Address internal review notes accurately and promptly before final export.
Timeline Management: Manage a tight Saturday–Thursday production cycle and meet strict delivery deadlines.
Technical & Hardware Requirements
Primary NLE: Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro is required.
Motion Graphics: Experience with Adobe After Effects is strongly preferred.

Hardware: A high-performance editing workstation capable of handling 4K footage efficiently without performance bottlenecks.
Storage & Internet: Ample local storage for large media files and a high-speed, reliable internet connection for fast file transfers.
Data Protection: Dependable backup solutions for active project files.

Key Qualifications & Mindset
Storytelling & Ownership: Ability to find the strongest narrative, choose optimal takes, and independently solve creative or technical challenges.
Attention to Detail: Strict adherence to high-quality standards with zero tolerance for preventable errors in grammar, audio, or graphics.

Proactive Communication: Prompt response times (acknowledging messages within 24 hours), clear deadline confirmations, and immediate updates on potential delays.
