About Us

The Golden Horde is a fast-growing, eight-figure DTC e-commerce company in the health and wellness space, with a strong focus on pain relief products. We build high-performing funnels and ad creative that combine real product results with scroll-stopping visuals — and AI-generated motion content is now a core part of how we do that.

The Role

We're looking for a Motion Graphic Designer who lives and breathes GIFs and motion content, and who has fully embraced AI generation tools as part of their creative process. This isn't a traditional "After Effects only" motion role — we need someone who can generate, direct, and finish AI-produced motion assets (GIFs especially) that are good enough to run on live landing pages and ad funnels.

What We're Looking For

We care much more about demonstrated skill and a strong portfolio than formal qualifications or a specific degree. That said, here's what matters most:

Must-Haves

Proven, hands-on expertise creating GIFs and motion content — this is a non-negotiable core skill for the role, not a nice-to-have
Real experience using AI tools to generate images and/or motion/GIF content (e.g., fal.ai, or similar tools like Midjourney, Runway, Kling, Ideogram, Higgsfield, etc.)
A portfolio that shows AI-generated motion work that's clean, polished, and ad/funnel-ready — not just experimental or personal-project quality
Solid finishing skills (e.g., Photoshop, After Effects, or similar) to clean up and elevate raw AI output
Ability to work quickly and produce a high volume of on-brief assets without sacrificing quality

Strongly Preferred

Experience creating content for a health and wellness brand — pain relief specifically is a big plus
Direct, hands-on DTC brand experience (rather than only agency-mediated or freelance-platform work), where you had visibility into what actually performed
An understanding of DTC funnel strategy — not just "make it look nice," but knowing why a particular angle or hook is used

Openness to learning and adopting new AI tools as the landscape evolves
