Senior Full-Stack App Developer (Project-Based)

For: Existing Apps, Websites & Future Development

Premier Massage is seeking an experienced Full-Stack App Developer to take ownership of our existing apps and websites, clean up and complete unfinished features, improve code quality, resolve bugs, and help implement new ideas as our business continues to grow.

This is a project-based role for a developer who is comfortable working with an existing codebase, identifying areas for improvement, and delivering reliable, scalable solutions. You will work closely with our team to refine our current systems while also helping shape future features and enhancements.

Project Objectives:
* Review and become familiar with Premier Massage's existing apps, websites, and technical infrastructure
* Clean up, organize, and improve the existing codebase
* Complete unfinished features and functionality
* Fix bugs, performance issues, and inconsistencies
* Improve the overall user experience, reliability, and maintainability of the applications
* Recommend and implement technical improvements where appropriate
* Assist with redesigning or rebuilding features based on new business requirements and ideas
* Make sure code is well-structured, documented, and easy to maintain
* Help maintain proper security, access control, and best development practices
* Collaborate with management to translate business needs into technical solutions

Requirements:
* Years of professional software development experience
* Strong experience with modern web and/or mobile application development
* Experience working with existing codebases and taking over active software projects
* Proficiency with source control platforms such as GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket
* Experience debugging, optimizing, and maintaining production applications
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
* Ability to recommend practical technical solutions while balancing business needs
* Excellent documentation and communication skills
* High attention to detail, professionalism, and accountability

Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience as a Senior Developer, Technical Lead, Software Architect, or CTO
* Experience inheriting and improving existing software projects
* Experience designing scalable application architecture
* Experience building long-term maintainable systems
* Experience working directly with business owners and non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities:
The selected developer will help:
* Complete existing development work
* Clean up and refactor code where needed
* Fix reported issues and technical debt
* Improve application performance and stability
* Implement approved feature requests and enhancements
* Recommend improvements to workflows, architecture, and user experience
* Maintain clear documentation of changes made throughout the project
* Communicate progress, timelines, and technical recommendations
