Role Purpose
The Amazon SEO Manager owns the organic discoverability and conversion performance of our Amazon catalog by building and executing a disciplined SEO system. This role ensures our listings are consistently optimized with the right keywords, content, and structure, so we rank higher, earn more organic traffic, and convert more shoppers - reducing reliance on paid ads over time.
This person translates keyword research, search query data, and competitor insights into prioritized listing actions (titles, bullets, backend terms, images, A+ content), and ensures SEO work is delivered on a reliable cadence aligned with seasonality, pricing strategy, and key retail events.
What Success Looks Like
A successful Amazon SEO Manager consistently increases organic visibility and conversion by keeping keyword strategy, listings, and metadata current and intentional. This person owns the SEO engine that compounds: better indexing, better rankings, higher CTR, higher CVR, and a stronger organic share of sales—without sacrificing brand quality or compliance.
They run a disciplined cadence of keyword research and refresh, systematically improve listings (titles/bullets/A+/images/backend), and translate data (DR/DD/SQP/SI) into prioritized action. They partner closely with PPC and creative to ensure keyword targets, positioning, and content work together—especially during seasonality, deal events, and pricing shifts.
