JOB OVERVIEW

I'm the founder of **Lato Atlas**, a website that helps people discover where they belong around the world through interactive maps, city profiles, quizzes, and AI.

The website is live and operating. I'm looking for a **long-term part-time technical assistant** to help maintain and improve the platform.

This is **not** a full-stack developer position. I'm looking for someone who enjoys working with existing code, using AI coding tools, and implementing well-defined improvements.

### Responsibilities

* Implement features from written specifications.
* Use AI coding tools such as ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot.
* Test all changes in a staging environment.
* Deploy approved changes.
* Fix bugs and troubleshoot issues.
* Help maintain site performance.
* Document technical changes.
* Communicate clearly with a non-technical founder.

### Technologies

Experience with some or most of these is preferred:

* GitHub
* Vercel
* React
* Next.js
* TypeScript
* API integrations

### Team Structure

You will work directly with me and will also have the support of an experienced Technical Lead who reviews major technical decisions. You're not expected to know everything—you'll have someone to escalate complex issues to when needed.

* Approximately **10 hours per month** to start.
