About the Role
I am looking for a skilled video editor who truly understands the craft — pacing, rhythm, storytelling, and the kind of high-energy, engaging editing that makes long-form YouTube content impossible to switch off. If you live and breathe channels like MrBeast and the Sidemen, and you know exactly what makes their editing style so effective, this role was built for you.

The primary focus of this role is motion graphics editing and assistant editing for YouTube content. You will be responsible for crafting entertaining, high-impact intros that immediately hook the audience and clearly set up the expectations for the rest of the video.

What You Will Be Working On

• Editing long-form YouTube videos with a focus on viewer retention, pacing, and storytelling.

• Designing and producing motion graphics using Adobe After Effects.

• Building anticipation and maintaining audience engagement throughout the full length of a video.

• Collaborating closely with the team to bring creative concepts to life.

What We Are Looking For

• A strong command of pacing, rhythm, and visual storytelling — you understand what keeps viewers watching and what makes them click away.

• Proficiency in Adobe After Effects is essential for this role.

• A deep understanding of the YouTube and social media algorithm, and the ability to analyse performance data and apply techniques to improve results.

• Someone who can take clear, direct feedback and implement it efficiently without it needing to be repeated.

• A genuine willingness to learn, grow, and operate as part of a collaborative team.

• A solid grasp of how to build anticipation and hook an audience in a long-form format.

How It Works
This is a full-time role. However, we will begin with a commission-based trial period to ensure we are the right fit for each other. If you demonstrate the skills, attitude, and output we are looking for, the transition to a full-time position is the clear next step.
