Part Time

We are a fast-growing European e-commerce group running multiple Shopify dropshipping stores (fashion and home & living). We ship thousands of orders per month through overseas suppliers, and we have a fully remote team covering customer support, supply chain and product listings.
We are not looking for someone who just wants a task list.
We are looking for someone who wants to grow WITH us. Our company is scaling fast, and many of our processes were built quickly and can be done better. We want a person who does the work, sees what is inefficient, says so, and helps us fix it. If you prefer to be told exactly what to do every day and nothing more, this job is not for you. If you get energy from making things run better every month, keep reading.
What you will do
Your home base is finance & operations. The core work:
- Reconcile settlements between our payment providers and our bank
- Check supplier invoices for wrong prices, duplicate charges and unexpected cost increases
- Claim back what suppliers owe us for cancelled, refunded and out-of-stock orders, and follow up until the money is actually returned
- Month-end: collect all invoices (suppliers, advertising, payment providers, staff, subscriptions), reconcile the totals, and report
- Check staff invoices against tracked hours and agreed rates
But just as important:
- When a process is slow, unclear or error-prone, you flag it and propose a better way
- You keep our SOPs up to date and write new ones when you improve something
- You gradually take ownership of more of our operations as you prove yourself — this role grows with the company
What we require (please read carefully)
- Real e-commerce dropshipping experience. You have worked for a dropshipping or e-commerce business before. You know how supplier agents work, what a settlement report is, and how refunds and disputes flow between the customer, the store and the supplier. Applications without e-commerce experience will not be considered.
- Proactive by nature. You do not wait to be told. When you see a problem or a smarter way of working, you bring it up yourself. You will need to give us a concrete example of this in your application.
- Committed and reliable. We invest in training you and we want someone who is here for the long term, not someone collecting multiple part-time jobs. You show up every working day and tell us in advance if you cannot.
- Strong spreadsheet skills. Lookups across sheets, matching two lists, pivot tables, finding duplicates.
- Accurate with numbers. You investigate a difference instead of adjusting it, and you never guess a number.
- Clear written English.
- Tax, VAT and legal matters are handled by our external accountant, so no tax experience is needed.
What we offer
- $4.50 for +/- 20 hours per week to start, with a clear growth path: as you take on more responsibility, your hours and pay grow with it. Our goal is that this becomes a full-time role for the right person.
- You work directly with the owner and the team. Short lines, fast decisions, real influence on how we work.
- A growing company: more stores, more volume, more opportunity every quarter.
- Long term, with a review after 60 days.
- The final step in hiring is a paid 2-hour practical test using real documents.
