Part-Time | Remote | $7.00 USD/hour | 20 Hours per Week

Madison Square Design is a New York-based kitchen and bath design showroom specializing in creating beautiful, functional spaces for homeowners. We are expanding our product offerings to include custom closets and are looking for a talented designer to join our growing team.

We're looking for someone who is passionate about design, detail-oriented, and enjoys turning ideas into professional, client-ready presentations.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cabinet Designer with strong knowledge of Closet Pro to create accurate cabinet layouts, elevations, and photorealistic renderings for residential projects.

The ideal candidate understands cabinet design principles, cabinet construction, U.S. measurements, and can transform floor plans and client inspiration into polished, presentation-ready designs.

This position starts at 20 hours per week, with the opportunity for additional hours as our custom closet division continues to grow.

Responsibilities
Design custom kitchen, bath, and closet layouts
Create accurate floor plans, elevations, and cabinet layouts
Produce high-quality 3D renderings and client presentations
Read and interpret architectural drawings and measurements
Recommend functional layouts and storage solutions
Prepare drawings for client review and revisions
Work closely with our design team to meet project deadlines
Organize project files and maintain design consistency

Required Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of cabinet or kitchen design experience
Advanced proficiency in Closet Pro Design

Strong understanding of:
Kitchen workflow
Cabinet sizing and specifications
U.S. standard measurements
Design best practices
Ability to produce professional renderings
Excellent attention to detail
Strong written and verbal English communication skills
Reliable internet connection and computer capable of running design software

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience using Closet Pro Design Software
Experience designing custom closets and storage systems
Knowledge of NKBA design principles
Experience working with U.S.-based clients
Ability to read construction or architectural plans

Compensation:
$7.00 USD per hour
Part-Time (20 hours per week)
