JOB OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a reliable and creative Ecommerce Virtual Assistant to support a growing Australian fashion and lifestyle business.

This is a long-term opportunity for someone who enjoys creating content, staying organised, and helping an independent retail store run smoothly. Initially, the role will be 10 hours per week, with the opportunity to increase hours as the business grows.

About the Role

You’ll work closely with the business owner to help manage day-to-day marketing and e-commerce tasks.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Editing engaging short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram and Facebook Reels
• Planning and scheduling social media content across multiple platforms
• Creating graphics, carousels and marketing assets in Canva
• Uploading and managing products in Shopify
• Writing or refining product descriptions using AI tools such as ChatGPT
• Basic image editing and organisation
• Assisting with email management in Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets)
• Setting up and managing email marketing workflows in Klaviyo
• General administrative support

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience supporting an e-commerce business
• Is confident using Shopify
• Has strong Canva design skills
• Can edit modern, engaging short-form videos using CapCut or similar software
• Has experience with Klaviyo or is confident and willing to learn email marketing automation
• Understands current TikTok and Instagram trends
• Has excellent written and spoken English
• Is organised, proactive, and pays close attention to detail - and has a great style!
• Can work independently and meet deadlines

Bonus skills (not essential)

• Xero
• Experience working with Australian businesses
• Fashion or retail industry experience
