Automation Specialist (GoHighLevel & ClickUp)

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Automation Specialist to build and maintain integrations between GoHighLevel (GHL) and ClickUp. This role focuses on creating seamless workflows that automate client communications, lead routing, and task management. You will design systems that ensure clients receive timely email and SMS notifications when bids are identified, and manage the technical infrastructure that keeps our operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
GoHighLevel Platform Management
? Configure and manage email sequences, automation workflows, and merge tags
? Set up and optimize form field mapping (standard forms and Facebook lead forms)
? Implement SMS and email notification workflows for bid alerts
? Troubleshoot email delivery issues and optimize sender reputation
ClickUp Integration & Automation
? Create custom workflows and automations within ClickUp to streamline task assignment and tracking
? Map fields and data flows between GHL and ClickUp for unified client and opportunity management
? Build bot configurations and custom automations for lead intake and bid pipeline routing
? Develop and test task templates and workflow sequences
AI-Powered Integrations & Systems Support
? Connect GHL, ClickUp, and third-party tools (Stripe, QuickBooks, etc.) to create end-to-end automation chains
? Build AI-powered automations that integrate with payment processors, accounting software, and other business tools
? Test integrations thoroughly before deployment and monitor for issues
? Document workflows, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures
? Respond to requests for workflow updates and system adjustments
Required Skills & Experience
? Proven experience with GoHighLevel (GHL) — form configuration, automation workflows, email sequences, and merge tags
? Demonstrated proficiency with ClickUp — task management, custom fields, workflows, and API integration basics
? Experience building AI automations and integrations with third-party platforms (Stripe, QuickBooks, Zapier, Make, etc.)
? Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently
? Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple automations and workflows simultaneously
? Clear communication skills; able to explain technical processes to non-technical tea ---------- mbers
? Experience with SMS/email automation platforms is a plus
Preferred Qualifications
? Experience in B2B sales, marketing automation, or CRM environments
? Familiarity with government procurement or bid management workflows
? Experience managing multiple client accounts or complex automation projects
? Track record of successful API integrations and custom automation builds
Schedule & Compensation

? Type: Full-time contract position
? Rate: $6/hour
? Hours: Sunday 8:00 PM to 12:00 AM EST, Monday to Thursday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM EST, Friday 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM EST
? Total: 40 hours per week
