About Derma Institute

Derma Institute is an international medical aesthetics training academy operating across the United Kingdom, Canada and the United States. We deliver accredited training programmes for regulated healthcare professionals in Botox®, dermal fillers, PRP, skin rejuvenation and advanced aesthetic procedures.

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer who is highly proficient in Claude Code and AI-assisted software development to help build and maintain a number of exciting internal projects.

The Role

We are seeking a talented and highly motivated developer who has hands-on experience using Claude Code to rapidly design, build and deploy software solutions.

You will work directly with our Operations team to develop bespoke systems that streamline business operations, automate manual processes and improve efficiency across our international business.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys solving real business problems, building scalable software and working with modern AI-assisted development tools.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain bespoke internal software platforms.
Build new features using Claude Code and AI-assisted development workflows.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Integrate third-party APIs and services.
Develop internal CRM tools and workflow automations.
Improve existing systems by identifying opportunities for optimisation.
Troubleshoot bugs and implement fixes efficiently.
Ensure all code is well structured, documented and maintainable.
Participate in planning and architecture discussions.
Deliver projects within agreed timelines.
Essential Requirements
Strong commercial software development experience.
Demonstrable experience using Claude Code.
Excellent understanding of AI-assisted coding workflows.
Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as:
Python
JavaScript / TypeScript
Node.js
React
Next.js
Experience building web applications.
Experience working with APIs and third-party integrations.
Strong understanding of Git and version control.
Excellent problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
