JOB OVERVIEW

Superior Hair Extensions is looking for a talented Paid Social Creative Designer based in the Philippines to join us on an ongoing remote freelance basis.

We are an established hair-extension and beauty e-commerce brand operating across New Zealand, Australia and the United States.

This role focuses specifically on creating high-performing video and static advertising content for Meta Ads. You will work directly with our internal team and paid-media specialists to develop original ad ideas, execute creative briefs and produce variations for ongoing testing.

This is not a social media management role, and you will not be responsible for managing advertising campaigns or budgets.

What you’ll be doing:

* Creating static and video advertisements for Facebook and Instagram
* Developing your own original ad concepts, hooks and creative angles
* Following briefs supplied by our paid-media specialists
* Producing variations of existing and successful ad concepts
* Editing short-form videos using supplied footage, product content and UGC
* Creating static ads, carousels, GIFs and promotional creatives
* Adapting creatives for different products, promotions and markets
* Researching competitor ads and current direct-response creative trends
* Reviewing performance feedback and using it to improve future creatives
* Working closely with our team to deliver content on schedule
* Organising source files and completed creative assets clearly

What we’re looking for

* Experience creating paid social advertisements for Meta
* Strong graphic-design and video-editing skills
* Experience working with e-commerce, beauty, fashion or consumer brands
* An understanding of direct-response advertising and conversion-focused design
* The ability to create original concepts rather than only following templates
* Experience creating multiple variations for creative testing
* Strong attention to detail
* Clear written English and reliable communication
* The ability to work independently and meet agreed deadlines
* Openness to performance feedback and creative revisions

Experience with Shopify or international e-commerce brands would be helpful but is not essential.

Tools

We are open to different software provided you can deliver professional, editable source files.

Role structure

* Fully remote
* Philippines-based applicants preferred
* Ongoing freelance position
* Paid through an agreed monthly retainer or hourly rate
* Part-time initially, with the potential for increased hours and responsibility
* You will work directly with our internal team, not through an agency

Paid creative test:
Shortlisted applicants will be invited to complete a paid creative test using assets and a brief supplied by us.

The test may include:
* One static prospecting ad
* One static retargeting ad
* One short-form video ad
* Alternative hooks or creative variations
* A brief explanation of the concept and intended customer angle

The same brief will be supplied to shortlisted applicants so we can fairly assess creativity, execution, communication and understanding of paid social advertising.
