o Monitor driver progress and adjust schedules as needed.
o Secure backhauls and reloads to maximize truck utilization.
o Ensure all drivers have complete dispatch information before each trip.
o Balance freight assignments to maximize fleet profitability and service reliability.

Fierce Global Logistics is a newly established transportation and logistics company focused on delivering reliable, on-time freight solutions with professionalism, integrity, and exceptional customer service. We are beginning operations with a 26-foot box truck and have an aggressive growth strategy to expand into a multi-truck fleet.

We are seeking an experienced Freight Dispatcher who is excited to join a company at the ground level and help build efficient dispatch operations from day one. This is an opportunity to grow alongside the business and make a meaningful impact on its success.

Position Summary
The Freight Dispatcher is responsible for securing profitable freight, negotiating rates, planning efficient routes, coordinating shipments, communicating with brokers and drivers, and ensuring trucks remain consistently loaded. This role is critical to maximizing revenue, minimizing downtime, and supporting the company's growth.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
o Freight Operations
o Source profitable freight using load boards and broker networks.
o Negotiate competitive freight rates.
o Build and maintain relationships with freight brokers and customers.
o Identify opportunities for dedicated lanes and direct shipper relationships.
o Secure reloads and backhauls to maximize truck utilization.
o Dispatch & Route Planning
o Build efficient daily and weekly route plans.
o Maintain a full daily load schedule with minimal downtime.
o Coordinate pickup and delivery appointments.
o Dispatch drivers with complete trip information.
o Monitor shipments from pickup through delivery.
o Adjust schedules as needed to ensure timely service.

Driver Support
o Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers.
o Resolve scheduling conflicts and operational issues.
o Monitor on-time performance.
o Provide real-time communication throughout each trip.

Administrative Responsibilities
o Complete carrier setup packets.
o Submit Proofs of Delivery (PODs).
o Assist with invoicing and factoring.
o Maintain accurate dispatch records.
o Prepare weekly dispatch and revenue reports.

Required Qualifications
o Minimum of 2 years of freight dispatching experience preferred.
o Experience dispatching box trucks or commercial freight.
o Strong freight negotiation skills.
o Excellent communication and customer service.
o Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
o Reliable computer, internet connection, and phone.

Preferred Qualifications
o Experience with DAT Load Board.
o Experience with Truckstop.
o Knowledge of FMCSA regulations.
o Familiarity with Carrier411, RMIS, or SaferWatch.
o Experience working with factoring companies.
o Understanding of detention, layover, TONU, and lumper procedures.

Key Performance Indicators - Performance will be evaluated based on:
o Weekly revenue generated
o Revenue per mile (RPM)
o Number of profitable loads booked
o Truck utilization
o Deadhead percentage
o On-time pickups and deliveries
o Broker satisfaction
o Development of dedicated freight lanes
o Growth of direct shipper relationships
