JOB OVERVIEW

We are hiring a talented digital illustrator and Photoshop artist to create high-quality YouTube thumbnails, movie-poster-style artwork, and character visuals for our cinematic TV drama, SCALE.

This is not a basic Canva or photo-retouching position. We need someone who can actually draw people, understands character anatomy, and can manually repair or build parts of an image when AI does not get it right.

Our work uses AI-generated images and video, but AI often struggles with consistent faces, skin tone, hands, body proportions, wardrobe, poses, expressions, and lighting. Your job is to take those materials and turn them into polished, clickable, cinematic visuals.

Your Main Responsibilities:
Draw/sketch human characters well—not only edit existing pictures.
Create dramatic, high-click YouTube thumbnails for our TV series.
Design cinematic movie-poster-style artwork using our recurring characters.
Use Photoshop to combine, adjust, and improve AI-generated images.
Manually draw, sketch, paint, or rebuild missing/problem areas such as hands, arms, bodies, clothing, hairstyles, facial expressions, and poses.
Keep recurring characters visually consistent from thumbnail to thumbnail—especially their face, complexion, body type, clothing, and overall look.
Fix AI mistakes instead of relying only on repeated regenerations.
Create character pose references, body portions, wardrobe concepts, expression variations, and occasional storyboard/concept frames when needed.
Match lighting, shadows, color, skin tone, and realism so all edits feel like one finished image.
Work with our team through Zoom and communicate clearly about each assignment.

You Are a Strong Fit If You Can:

Draw human characters well—not only edit existing pictures.
Draw believable hands, faces, bodies, clothing, and poses.
Use Adobe Photoshop confidently for photo manipulation, compositing, masking, lighting, color matching, and image repair.
Create cinematic, dramatic, emotional YouTube thumbnails that make people want to click.
Blend drawn/painted corrections into a realistic image so they do not look pasted on.
Understand visual storytelling, facial emotion, composition, and movie-poster design.
Work from character references and keep the same character recognizable across different scenes.
Use AI tools as part of your workflow, but are skilled enough to manually fix what AI cannot.
Communicate in strong English, meet deadlines, and work consistently.
