JOB OVERVIEW

Omnia Homes is a residential builder based in Melbourne, Australia, specialising in custom homes, knockdown rebuilds and dual-occupancy projects.

We are seeking an experienced Philippines-based Revit draftsperson for ongoing project-based work.

The role involves preparing and revising Australian residential working drawings using Revit 2017, based on Omnia Homes’ existing Revit template, standards and markups.

Required experience:

Minimum 3–4 years of Australian residential drafting experience.
Strong experience using Revit 2017.
Ability to work within an existing company Revit template.
Experience preparing complete residential working drawing packages.
Strong understanding of Australian residential construction terminology and documentation.
Ability to accurately follow handwritten and PDF markups.
Good written English and attention to detail.
Ability to return both the native Revit file and completed PDF drawing set.

Typical work may include:

floor plans;
elevations;
sections;
roof plans;
site plans;
electrical plans;
window and door schedules;
construction details;
amendments following client, engineer, energy-rater or building-surveyor comments.

Engagement:

Freelance, project-based work.
Standard working drawing packages generally paid per project, depending on size, complexity and scope.
Custom homes and dual occupancies will be priced separately.
Revisions caused by new instructions or updated consultant documents will be paid separately.
Corrections required due to drafting errors against the original instructions are included.
Regular ongoing work may be available for reliable candidates.
Shortlisted applicants will complete a paid Revit test.
