We are an established U.S.-based e-commerce company looking for an experienced Amazon Listing Specialist to help us research, create, and optimize product listings.
We will begin with a small number of products. Additional and ongoing work will be available if the quality of the work is strong.
This is not only a data-entry or listing-upload position. We need someone who understands how to properly research a product and create a listing that converts.
For each product, you will be responsible for:
• Researching the leading competitors on Amazon
• Reviewing competitors’ titles, bullet points, images, pricing, and positioning
• Analyzing positive and negative customer reviews to identify complaints, questions, expectations, and opportunities
• Understanding what customers care about before writing the listing
• Identifying our product’s strongest benefits and competitive advantages
• Conducting Amazon keyword research
• Creating the product positioning and listing strategy
• Writing optimized titles, bullet points, descriptions, and backend search terms
• Recommending what information and selling points should appear in the listing images and A+ Content
• Working with a separate graphic designer who will create the images and visual content
• Creating or updating listings inside Amazon Seller Central when needed
• Making sure all product specifications and claims are accurate
The ideal applicant should have:
• Proven experience researching and creating Amazon listings
• Strong Amazon SEO and keyword-research skills
• Strong written English and copywriting ability
• Experience analyzing competitor listings and customer reviews
• Experience using Amazon Seller Central
• Experience using AI tools to assist with research, review analysis, positioning, and copywriting
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to verify information
AI should be used as a research and productivity tool, but we do not want generic or inaccurate AI-generated copy. All information must be reviewed and verified, and every listing should be written specifically for the product and its target customer.
