Job Description

About Ocean Wounds

Ocean Wounds is a growing mobile wound care company providing specialized wound care services throughout the United States. We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Virtual Medical Scribe to join our team.

As a Virtual Medical Scribe, you will assist our healthcare providers by documenting patient visits in real time, completing medical notes, and ensuring accurate and timely documentation.

Responsibilities

Document patient encounters accurately during provider visits
Complete medical documentation in the EMR
Record patient history, assessments, and treatment plans
Review documentation for accuracy and completeness
Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
Communicate professionally with providers and office staff
Qualifications
Previous Medical Scribe experience preferred
Strong understanding of medical terminology
Excellent written and spoken English
Fast and accurate typing skills (60+ WPM preferred)
Experience using EMR systems is a plus
Reliable computer and high-speed internet
Quiet workspace free from distractions
Available to work during U.S. Eastern Time business hours
