About Mostro
Mostro is a Florida-based cybersecurity and compliance company building a proprietary SaaS platform for the mortgage industry. We're solving identity, verification, and compliance problems that the industry currently handles with spreadsheets and hope. Our stack is modern — Cloudflare Workers, Supabase, Next.js, Claude API — and our build model is AI-first.

About the role
You'll take architecture specs and turn them into deployed, working systems. Our primary build tool is Claude Code — you'll write production code through it, not around it. Every commit goes through an automated AI review pipeline before it ships. If that excites you, keep reading.

What you'll do

Build and deploy AI agents and platform features from architectural specs using Claude Code
Work in our production stack: Next.js, Supabase (RLS), Cloudflare Workers, Clerk, LangGraph.js, Claude API
Ship features independently from a spec — no hand-holding, no daily standups
Integrate with third-party APIs and MCP servers
Debug and iterate on live systems based on real usage data

What we're looking for

Strong JavaScript/TypeScript — you've shipped real things with Next.js and Supabase (or equivalent)
Real experience building with LLM APIs (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI) — not just prompting
Comfortable with Claude Code as a daily build tool (or eager to learn fast)
You read a spec, ask smart clarifying questions, then build. That's the cycle.
Strong written and spoken English — you'll communicate directly with the CEO
Portfolio, GitHub, or code samples required. No exceptions.

Nice to have

Cloudflare Workers, edge deployments, or serverless architectures
Identity systems (JWT, cryptographic signing, RBAC)
Background in regulated industries (fintech, mortgage, healthcare)

Compensation & structure
Full-time, long-term. Above-market Philippine salary, paid monthly. Short paid trial project before full engagement — we both see if the fit is real. Growth path into a senior/lead technical role as the team scales. You'd be the first dedicated engineer — early hires get disproportionate upside if they earn it.
