Hey everyone!
We’re currently hiring a freelance Video Editor for our YouTube channel focused on car restoration TV shows, famous builds, and automotive reality culture (programs like Wheeler Dealers, Bitchin' Rides, Gas Monkey Garage, etc.).
If you know how to build a good visual narrative and keep an audience hooked on long-form YouTube content, we’d love to work with you.
What the job looks like:
Editing long-form documentary-style automotive videos (usually around 14–20 minutes).
Sourcing solid B-roll, show footage, and imagery to match provided voiceover scripts.
Dialing in the audio—clean VO balance, background music selection, and subtle SFX to keep pacing strong.
Adding clean text overlays, graphics, and visual cuts to keep viewer retention high.
What we’re looking for:
Use whatever editing software you work best in—all that matters to us is the final quality and execution.
A general familiarity with car restoration culture/TV so you actually know what footage fits best.
A strong grasp of YouTube editing style—understanding pacing, tight cuts, sound design, and keeping clips moving smoothly without cluttering the screen.
Reliable turnarounds and clear communication.
