At Strategy North, we build performance-led funnels for high ticket B2C (requiring lead gen) + ecomm brands.
Behind every campaign we run is a stack of moving parts: websites, ad accounts, CRMs, and automations that all have to talk to each other. We're looking for a Technical VA who can own that stack. Someone who's genuinely comfortable getting under the hood of WordPress, GHL, ad platforms, and automation tools, and making things work without needing to be walked through it.
To be clear, this is not an ads-buying role. You won't be writing campaigns or managing budgets. Your job is the technical foundation underneath the funnels: getting them set up correctly so our strategy + media buying can drive results.
Your Role
- Build and maintain landing pages in WordPress and GoHighLevel (GHL), keeping them fast, clean, and conversion-ready. Must be comfortable building a range of funnels (quiz funnels, book a call funnels, lead magnet funnels etc.)
- Handle the technical setup behind Meta Ads and Google Ads: connecting Shopify products to catalogs in Meta and Google Merchant Center, configuring pixels and conversion tracking, setting up ad accounts, and getting the right access from clients.
- Set up and manage CRM platforms like GHL and Pipedrive: pipelines, stages, fields, and the plumbing that keeps lead data flowing to the right place.
- Build automations and integrations using Zapier and
- Troubleshoot when something breaks (a pixel that stopped firing, a Zap that failed, a form that isn't passing data) and fix it without a fuss.
- Keep our internal systems and client builds documented, tidy, and easy to hand off.
What We're Looking For
- Confident with web development on WordPress and GHL (Shopify experience is a bonus).
- Hands-on experience with the technical setup side of Meta Ads + Google Ads: pixels, catalogs, conversion tracking, ad account setup, and managing client access. Note this is technical setup, not ad buying.
- Comfortable working across CRM platforms like GHL and Pipedrive.
- Fluent in building automations with Zapier and/or
- A problem-solver who can diagnose a broken workflow and figure out the fix independently.
- Reliable, detail-obsessed, and clear in communication. The kind of person who closes the loop rather than leaving things half-done.
- Experience with Figma and Google Tag Manager is a bonus.
What You Get
- Minimum 20 hours per week, with room to grow as you take on more of the stack.
- A 2-week paid trial to start, so both sides can make sure it's the right fit.
- Work across growing brands in industries like finance, investing, and DTC.
- Be part of a lean, results-driven agency where your work directly keeps the machine running, and where there's real room to grow.
