We're looking for a skilled YouTube Video Editor who can create engaging, documentary-style long-form videos centered around police bodycam footage, interrogations, and true crime i ---------- .

This is not a simple cut-and-trim editing job. You'll need to use cinematic pacing, maps, evidence overlays, callouts, timelines, subtitles, sound design, and visual storytelling to keep viewers engaged while presenting real events clearly and professionally.

Each video will range from 10–30 minutes, and we will provide the complete script, voice-over, and bodycam footage.

Pay
$20 USD per completed 25-minute video
$1.50 USD for every additional minute
Long-term work available for the right editor
Responsibilities
Edit long-form YouTube videos (10–30 minutes)
Sync bodycam footage with the provided voice-over
Create engaging visual storytelling using maps, timelines, evidence graphics, and text callouts
Add subtitles/captions when appropriate
Use stock footage, news clips (when provided or properly sourced), photos, and B-roll to improve storytelling
Zoom, highlight, blur, and emphasize important ---------- nts in footage
Add cinematic sound effects and background music that enhance the story without distracting from it
Maintain strong pacing to maximize audience retention
Follow YouTube-safe editing practices while handling sensitive footage
Deliver polished, high-quality videos on schedule
Requirements
Experience editing YouTube long-form content
Experience editing police bodycam, true crime, documentary, or investigative videos is highly preferred
Strong knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar software
Ability to create clean motion graphics, maps, lower thirds, evidence callouts, and simple animations
Excellent storytelling and pacing
Strong attention to detail
Reliable communication and ability to meet deadlines
