JOB OVERVIEW

I am hiring a full-time remote Civil 3D CAD Drafter / Civil & Structural Drafter to help with civil and structural engineering projects.

This role is a good fit for someone who has hands-on experience using Civil 3D and AutoCAD and enjoys preparing accurate drawings from sketches, redlines, markups, and project notes.

You will help create and update civil and structural drawings, including site plans, grading plans, profiles, cross-sections, utility layouts, structural plans, foundation details, framing plans, sections, and construction details.

You will also help update drawings based on client or engineering markups, organize CAD files, manage drawing versions, and make sure plans are clean before they are submitted.

I am looking for someone who is detail-oriented, responsive, and comfortable asking questions when something is unclear. You do not need to know everything, but you should already be comfortable working with Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and construction drawings.

Experience with U.S. civil or structural projects is a strong advantage, but the most important thing is that you can follow instructions carefully, check your own work, and communicate clearly during work hours.

This may not be the right fit if you do not have Civil 3D experience, if your background is only architectural drafting or rendering, or if you are not comfortable working on civil and structural drawings.
