JOB OVERVIEW

About Us:
We are a growing retail brand with multiple locations and a central inventory hub. We use Shopify to manage our products and inventory, and we're looking for an experienced Shopify expert to help automate our inventory management processes using Shopify, AI, and automation tools.
Our goal is to spend less time managing inventory manually and more time making smarter purchasing decisions through automation.

What You'll Do:
You'll review our current inventory workflow, identify inefficiencies, and build automations that improve how we manage inventory, purchasing, and reporting.
Potential projects include:
Build automated low-stock alerts based on reorder thresholds
Create a centralized reorder dashboard
Generate automated reorder recommendations based on sales history and inventory levels
Build inventory forecasting tools using sales trends
Create monthly best-seller and slow-seller reports
Develop inventory aging reports
Create automated purchase order or reorder lists
Improve Shopify reporting and dashboards
Streamline new product setup in Shopify through automation
Evaluate AI tools that can improve inventory planning and purchasing decisions
Document workflows and create SOPs for all automations
You'll also review our existing Shopify setup and recommend additional automation opportunities that improve efficiency.

Ideal Skills:

Shopify Admin
Shopify Flow
Shopify APIs
Shopify Inventory Management
AI automation tools
Inventory forecasting
Operations and workflow automation
Bonus if you've worked with businesses that manage inventory across multiple retail locations.
