Role Overview

3 UK based wedding florists are looking for a creative, organised, and confident Social Media Manager to plan, create, and manage content across their social channels. The role covers content creation, scheduling, and publishing, alongside supporting activities such as blog writing, performance reporting, and community engagement. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building a brand's voice and aesthetic online and can work independently to a regular content schedule.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation
Plan, film/edit, and produce Reels and video-led content
Design social media graphics using Canva or similar tools
Write engaging, on-brand captions for social posts

Scheduling & Publishing
Schedule and publish content across Instagram, and where relevant Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube
Maintain a consistent posting schedule in line with an agreed monthly or weekly content plan

Strategy & Reporting
Build and agree content plans in collaboration with the business owner
Provide creative direction for content based on what is performing well
Review performance data monthly and share clear, actionable recommendations

Blog & Website Support
Write and publish blog posts, including structuring content and basic on-page SEO
Work within the business's website platform (e.g. Wix or WordPress) to schedule posts

Engagement & Admin
Engage with new followers and respond to community interactions
General admin support as required (e.g. CRM updates), with training provided where needed

Essential Experience:
- Minimum one year experience managing social media for a small or creative business, ideally within the wedding or creative industry
- Confident planning, editing, and directing Reels and other short-form video content
- Experience designing social media graphics (e.g. using Canva)
- Strong, engaging writing skills for both captions and longer-form content
- Comfortable analysing performance data and turning it into clear recommendations
- Strong attention to detail and consistency with brand tone and visual style
- Highly organised and reliable, able to work independently to a regular content schedule

Preferred Skills
- Experience scheduling content via Meta Business Suite
- Experience publishing and managing blog content on Wix or WordPress, including on-page SEO
- Experience building content funnels linking social media to blog content
- Experience managing multiple or linked brand accounts with distinct identities
- Experience growing engagement through community management
