JOB OVERVIEW

About the role:
We are looking for a talented graphic designer to create marketplace-specific listing designs (Amazon, and potentially Bol (Biggest marketplace in Netherlands, Belgium) for our e-commerce clients. This role starts part-time as a paid test assignment, with the clear intention to grow into more hours — potentially full-time — for the right candidate.

The first assignment:
You will build one brand template system for a client, tailored to marketplace-specific style guidelines (image sizing, layout conventions, compliance requirements). Using this template, you will then produce 2–3 full listing image sets to demonstrate that the system is genuinely fast and reusable — not just a one-off design.
Speed and reusability matter as much as visual quality here. We are scaling across many listings and clients, so a template that takes a full day to adapt to a new product defeats the purpose. Please be transparent in your application about how long similar work has taken you in the past.

How we think about design:
We don't just want someone who executes — we want someone who thinks from the customer journey. That means: before designing a single listing image, you should be actively analyzing competitors — what are they showing, what are they missing, what would make a shopper stop scrolling and convert? That competitive analysis should directly inform the design decisions in the listing itself. We're looking for a designer who can explain why an image works, not just produce something that looks nice.

Must-haves:
A demonstrable portfolio of Amazon listing designs ( ---------- experience is a plus, though we understand this is a smaller, more regional platform).
Solid working experience in both Adobe Photoshop and Canva — we want to know how you build scalable systems (e.g., Smart Object templates, Canva Brand Kits) rather than starting from scratch on each listing.
Experience working with the Amazon Seller Central back-end (uploading/managing images, understanding image and content requirements).
Familiarity with Amazon A+ Content design (preferred, not a hard must.)
Ability to think from a customer-journey and competitive-analysis perspective, translating that thinking into the actual listing design.
Strong sense of visual branding and layout consistency across a product family.
Minimum 2 years of demonstrable experience in graphic design for e-commerce/marketplace listings. A bachelor's degree is a nice-to-have, but real, provable experience matters far more to us.

Strongly preferred (treated as a must in practice):
AI-minded: experience integrating AI tools (e.g., Higgsfield, Nano Banana Pro, or similar) into your graphic design workflow. We're looking for someone who blends AI-assisted image generation/editing with traditional design skills to work faster and more creatively — not someone using AI as a gimmick.

A short note on your experience with Photoshop vs. Canva, and which you'd choose for a scalable listing-template system (and why).
A brief example of how you've used competitive analysis to shape a listing design in the past.
Any experience with AI tools in your design workflow.
Your years of experience in this field, and (if applicable) your educational background.
Your weekly availability (hours) and preferred working hours (please note: some overlap with Central European time is helpful).
