JOB OVERVIEW

HTP Solutions is a growing software and financial technology company focused on helping individuals and businesses improve their financial future through innovative software solutions.

We're currently building a large library of professional training videos for our software platform, Report Repair Tool (RRT). We're looking for a talented video editor who can transform raw recordings into polished, engaging, easy-to-follow educational videos.

This is not a full-time position. Instead, we're looking for a dependable freelance editor that we can build a long-term relationship with. As our training library grows, you'll receive ongoing editing projects throughout the year.

What You'll Be Editing

You'll receive a combination of:
• Screen recordings
• Voice-over recordings
• Talking-head videos
• Software demonstrations
• Educational tutorials
• Product feature walkthroughs
• Training presentations
Your goal is to turn these recordings into professional, engaging videos that are easy for our customers to follow.

Responsibilities
Your responsibilities include:

• Edit mistakes, awkward pauses, and unnecessary sections
• Remove filler words ("um," "uh," etc.)
• Improve pacing and flow
• Clean up and enhance audio quality
• Synchronize audio with screen recordings
• Add professional intros and outros
• Add captions and subtitles
• Add text overlays
• Add callouts, arrows, highlights, and annotations
• Zoom into important parts of the screen
• Blur or censor sensitive information when necessary
• Add smooth transitions
• Add royalty-free background music when appropriate
• Ensure consistent branding throughout each video
• Export videos in high quality (1080p or higher)
• Organize and deliver final project files

If you have experience with any of the following, that's a big plus:

• Motion graphics
• Adobe After Effects
• YouTube thumbnail design
• Social media video editing
• YouTube Shorts
• Instagram Reels
• TikTok editing
• Graphic design
• Basic YouTube SEO

• Audio enhancement
• Experience editing SaaS or software tutorials

Software Experience
Experience with one or more of the following:

• Adobe Premiere Pro
• Descript
• CapCut
• DaVinci Resolve
• Final Cut Pro
• Camtasia
• ScreenFlow

Compensation

This is a freelance, project-based position. We prefer to pay per completed video rather than hourly.
This allows both you and our company to focus on producing the highest quality finished product rather than tracking hours.
Compensation will depend on the length and complexity of each project. As our training library grows, there will be ongoing opportunities for additional paid projects.

• Turnaround time
• Ability to follow instructions
