JOB OVERVIEW

Do not apply if you do not follow soccer and understand betting markets
(player props, odds formats, accumulators). Your application will be skipped.

ABOUT US
Udagi Scout is an Ireland based football (soccer) analytics product covering UK
and European football. Our app computes data most accounts would kill for:
standout player performances, odds movement, player prop boards. The graphics
that carry that data to social are being automated, so this role is not about
filling templates. It is about the parts a machine cannot do.

WHAT THE JOB ACTUALLY IS

- TALK TO PEOPLE. Reply to comments, DMs and questions across X (Twitter) and
Facebook, in a voice people recognise. This is the core of the job, not an
add-on to it. You are the account as far as our audience is concerned.
- GROW THE REACH. Find and join the conversations our content belongs in.
Football Twitter, betting communities, reply threads, creators worth
engaging. We want an account people follow, not a feed people scroll past.
- WRITE THE HOOKS. The automation produces the card. You write the line above
it that makes someone stop. Same data, better hook, more follows.
- REACT FAST. When a match does something our data called, or flatly
contradicts, you spot it and post with your own angle while it still matters.
- TELL US WHAT TO CHANGE. Which cards land and which die, what formats we are
missing, what promotions or offers would actually bring people in. You will
see the audience react before we do, and we want that fed back weekly.
- KEEP THE NUMBERS. A weekly sheet: posts shipped, engagement, clicks,
signups. Kept without being chased.

Early on, before the automation is finished, there is some manual filling of
card templates in Canva and scheduling. That shrinks as we build. Do not take
this job because you want the filling work; take it because you want the
account.

HARD RULES (conditions of the job, not preferences)
- Never post win percentages, hit rates, or "guaranteed" anything. No "lock",
no "banker". We are a data product, not tipsters.
- Responsible gambling standards always: 18+ framing, and a fixed supportive
reply (provided) for anyone who seems to be in trouble with gambling.
- Never improvise statistics. Only numbers from our data ever get posted.
- Nothing gets posted outside the playbook without owner approval.

REQUIREMENTS
- Genuine soccer knowledge and betting literacy: you know what 2+ shots on
target at 11/4 means without googling it.
- Strong written English with personality: hooks, banter, short replies that
land. You will be judged on this more than anything else.
- Comfortable talking to strangers online all day and staying pleasant while
doing it, including when someone is rude or wants a tip you cannot give.
- Reliable daily availability including weekends during the season. The
schedule is light but consistency matters more than hours.
- Organised: checklists, schedules, and a numbers sheet kept without chasing.
- Basic Canva competence for the interim manual period (filling templates, not
designing).

WHAT PUTS YOU AT THE FRONT OF THE QUEUE
An account or page you ran yourself in football, sports or betting: linked,
with the post from it you are proudest of. That is the strongest evidence we
can get that you can create and not just execute, and it outranks everything
else on the list above. It is not a hard requirement. A sharp application from
someone who has never run their own page still gets read.

NICE TO HAVE
- Buffer, Meta Business Suite or X scheduling experience.
- Experience growing an account past 10k.
- You have run promotions, giveaways or referral pushes and know what worked.

HOW TO APPLY
Start with LIMEGREEN. Then, in a few lines:
1. Your favourite team, and a player prop you would have backed in the World
Cup knockout stage and why.
2. The account or page you ran and the post from it you are proudest of, or
your best piece of football writing if you have not run one.
3. One thing you would do in your first month to grow a football data account
from a standing start.
4. Your typical daily availability in Irish time (same clock as the UK).

Shortlisted applicants get a small PAID test task: write replies to three
sample comments using an excerpt of our playbook, pitch three post ideas from
a real data sheet, and propose one promotion you would run at season kickoff.
