JOB OVERVIEW

Paid Media Specialist (Google Ads and Meta)

Salary: $2,000 USD per month, approximately PHP 123,000 at current exchange rates
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM Manila time (9:00 AM to 6:00 PM US Central)
Location: Remote, anywhere in the Philippines
Employment: Full time, permanent, direct hire through Workspark

Why this role is worth your night shift:

You are being hired into the digital team of a 42 year old, family owned advertising agency in Dallas, Texas. Not a BPO. Not a startup that may not exist next year. Not an agency of the month.

Here is the kind of company this is. When a long tenured employee left, the agency kept his wife on the health insurance they paid for because she had received a cancer diagnosis. They promote from within before they ever hire from outside. Their leadership said plainly that they want someone who will grow into more, not someone who will be gone in a year.

Workspark employees stay an average of over four years with the clients we place them with. That number exists because we are careful about where we put people.

You will report directly to senior agency leadership in the US. You are treated as a member of their team, not as an outsourced vendor.

Role Overview:

Your work runs on a monthly cycle.

Week one is the launch sprint. Campaign assignments arrive in Basecamp. You build and launch them in Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager exactly to the approved budget and spec.

Weeks two and three are optimization. You watch pacing and spend daily. You adjust bids, run creative tests, and chase down whatever is missing. A large part of this job is noticing that a campaign is built and sitting in pending status only because creative has not arrived, then going and getting it. Nobody will remind you.

Week four is reporting. You build the monthly reports in Excel and PowerPoint and deliver them clean and on time.
Across all of it you set up and QA tagging, pixels, UTM strings, and conversion tracking in Google Tag Manager, and you build and refine audiences.

You will also support programmatic buys in Orbit and Simpli.fi, including retargeting, OTT, and pre roll video. This is a smaller part of the role and you can learn it here.

What you need to have:

- Three or more years building and launching paid campaigns yourself, inside the platforms
- Real hands on experience in Google Ads (Search and YouTube) and Meta Ads Manager
- Experience setting up tagging, pixels, UTM strings, and conversion tracking
- Experience watching live client budgets and pacing, not just reporting on them afterward
- Solid Excel or Sheets skills, comfortable well past basic formulas. You do not need to be a pivot table expert
- Comfortable building clean reporting decks in PowerPoint or Slides
- Comfortable pulling and reading data in Google Analytics 4
- Clear, easily understood spoken English. You will be on calls with US leadership regularly
- Experience working US hours

Nice to have, not required: Merchant Center campaigns, DSP experience of any kind (Simpli.fi, Orbit, Trade Desk, DV360, Basis), OTT or video buying, agency experience across multiple clients, Basecamp.

Google Ads and Meta are what matter most. Apply even if your programmatic experience is thin.

Being straight with you about two things:

1. This is an execution role for at least the first year. Strategy and budgets come to you already d ---------- through the agency's internal approval system. If you want to own media strategy right now, you will be frustrated here. If you want to be excellent at the craft and grow into more, this is a very good place to do it.
2. Precision is the whole job. You are touching live client money. A wrong digit in a budget field is a real financial loss for a real client. The agency's leadership named attention to detail as the single most important quality, above personality and above everything else. You should expect to be tested on it during our process.

We pay well above the typical Philippine market rate for this role specifically because of that standard.

What we are looking for in a person:

- Someone who finishes their assignments and says "I am caught up, what else do you have."
- Someone who flags a problem the ---------- nt they see it rather than waiting to be asked.
- Someone dependable enough that nobody has to check whether the work got done.

What you need at home:

- A quiet, professional workspace.
- Reliable computer and headset.
- Stable internet with a backup connection.

Compensation and benefits:

- $2,000 USD monthly, paid twice monthly via Wise
- Paid vacation, holidays, and sick leave after probation
- Birthday bonus and monthly performance bonuses from Workspark
- Dedicated Workspark onboarding and ongoing employee support, including regular check ins so you are never left to figure things out alone
- A long term, stable position with a US agency that promotes from within

How to apply:

Apply here: ----------

Send your resume and answer these three briefly:
1. Walk us through one paid campaign you built end to end. Platform, budget, and result.
2. Tell us about a time you caught a mistake before it cost the client money.
3. What does a typical month look like for you when you are running several live campaigns at once?

Optional but it moves you up the list: record a short voice or video answer instead of typing. Sixty seconds is plenty. Since this role involves daily calls with US leadership, hearing you early speeds everything up.
