We are now looking for a smart, highly organised Junior Credit Analyst based in the Philippines to support our Australian credit team.

This is an opportunity to develop practical experience in Australian property lending, credit assessment and private finance while working directly with an experienced Sydney-based team.

About the Role

As a Junior Credit Analyst, you will assist our credit team with reviewing and assessing commercial loan applications secured by Australian property.

You will help collect, analyse and verify financial information, identify risks and prepare clear credit submissions for senior approval.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing loan applications and supporting documents
• Analysing bank statements, financial statements and borrower information
• Reviewing property valuations, loan-to-value ratios and proposed loan structures
• Completing company, trust, property and borrower searches
• Checking loan applications against Archer Wealth’s lending policies
• Identifying missing information, credit risks and policy exceptions
• Preparing preliminary credit assessments and credit submissions
• Maintaining accurate borrower and loan records in our systems
• Following up outstanding documents and approval conditions
• Supporting settlements, loan variations and portfolio reviews
• Communicating professionally with the Australian credit, sales and operations teams
• Assisting with reporting, reconciliations and other credit administration tasks

You will receive training in Archer Wealth’s lending products, credit policies and assessment processes.

About You

You are analytical, careful and naturally curious. You enjoy working with numbers, investigating inconsistencies and making sure every detail is correct.

You take ownership of your work, communicate clearly and are comfortable asking questions when information does not make sense.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Banking, Business or a related discipline
• At least 1 year of experience in banking, lending, credit analysis, loan processing, finance or accounting
• Strong numerical and financial analysis skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong written and spoken English
• Good Microsoft Excel skills
• The ability to review large amounts of information accurately
• Strong organisation and time-management skills
• A reliable internet connection and suitable home working environment
• Availability to work during Australian business hours

Experience in Australian lending, mortgage processing, property finance, commercial lending or private credit would be highly regarded, but is not essential.
