Full Time
$900-1200/month

We're 5DCP, an M&A advisory firm working across the UK, US and UAE. We help owners of profitable small and mid-sized businesses sell them well.
We put out a lot of content: short-form video, written posts, a weekly show. We already have a video editor. What we don't have is the person who keeps the whole machine running and does the writing.
That's this role.
Read this part twice: organisation is the job.
Everything else is secondary. If you are brilliant at content but chaotic with deadlines, trackers and follow-ups, you will hate working here and we will both know within a month.
What you'll actually do
- Own the content calendar. Know what is going out, when, on which platform, and what stage it's at
- Chase people. Including me. If a script isn't approved or a video isn't back from the editor, you are the one who moves it
- Research ideas, trends and topics. Bring hooks and angles to the table, don't just wait for them
- Write the content. Captions, post copy, hooks, video descriptions, titles and meta descriptions
- Schedule and publish across LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram,
Track performance. Simple, clear reporting on what worked and what didn't
- Build and maintain the systems and SOPs that keep it all repeatable
- Handle comments, DMs and engagement in our voice
On design
We have a video editor, so this is not a video editing job and it is not a graphic design job. Do not apply as a designer.
That said, if you can make a clean carousel, a sharp one-page PDF or a tidy slide deck in Canva without needing hand-holding, that's a real bonus and we'll use it. Nice-to-have, not the reason we'd hire you.
What we're looking for
- Ruthless organisation. Nothing slips. You track everything, you follow up without being asked, and you are the person who notices the thing everyone else forgot
- Proactive by default. You tell me what's next, I don't tell you
- Genuinely strong written English. You can write a hook that lands and a description that reads like a person wrote it
- Comfortable using AI tools daily (ChatGPT, Claude, Notion AI or similar) to research, draft and repurpose. We actively encourage it. What we won't accept is raw AI output pasted in with no judgement applied
- Experience with scheduling and project tools (Notion, Later, Buffer, Metricool, whatever you're strong in)
- Bonus: solid Canva skills for static posts, carousels, PDFs and simple decks
- High standards and fast implementation. Both, not one
- Business or finance content experience is a bonus, not a requirement. You can learn our world. You cannot learn to care about detail.
The offer
- $900 to $1,200/month depending on experience
- Performance bonuses on top
- 13th month pay
- Full-time, long-term, growing role with real ownership
How to apply
- Put the word
- Send a 2-minute Loom or video intro. Tell me about a project you organised end to end and what nearly went wrong
- Send two short pieces of writing you have done. Social captions are fine
- Tell me one AI tool you use every day and exactly what you use it for
- Show me the system you use to keep previous or current content systems you're working on organised. A screenshot of your Notion, Trello or spreadsheet is fine. A spreadsheet is absolutely fine, I care that you have one and use it. If you don't have one, don't apply
If you're brilliant, this role gets bigger and so does the pay.
