Thrive Alliance is a U.S.-based K-8 tutoring company built around a clear, measurable outcome: one full grade level of academic improvement in 12 weeks, delivered through structured, data-driven instruction on the MobyMax platform. We’re expanding our teaching team and hiring PRC-licensed teachers for remote Math and English Language Arts instruction.
All instruction runs through MobyMax. Diagnostic placement, skill targets, and mastery assessments are generated by the platform based on each student’s ongoing performance data, and every lesson you teach is platform-guided rather than independently planned — you won’t be building lesson plans from scratch.
This is a stable, recurring position. Your caseload builds over time — starting small and growing toward a full caseload of 17-25 students — with full training provided before you begin.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM-9:00 PM (US Central Time)
• Monday/Wednesday/Friday: live online class sessions
• Tuesday/Thursday: a mix of assigning skills, reviewing progress, and additional live sessions for students who need extra support — live teaching hours on these days can range from 0 to 4 hours depending on caseload at the time
• The final hour each day is reserved for task catch-up; if nothing is pending, you’re free to log off early
Requirements:
• Active PRC teaching license (LET passer)
• Prior teaching or tutoring experience with K-8 students
• Strong spoken and written English
• Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace for live video instruction
What we provide:
• Full training on MobyMax and our instructional system
• A structured curriculum — no lesson planning from scratch
• A dedicated, consistent caseload rather than rotating one-off sessions
Compensation: $200/month to start (1-8 students) — $400/month at 9-16 students — $600/month at a full caseload of 17-25 students — plus a $200 performance bonus. All tiers pay the same effective rate, approximately $7.69/hour.
This positions pays biweekly.
Our hiring process is straightforward: a short written pre-screen, license verification, a brief subject-area placement assessment, and a final interview.
To apply: Please begin your reply with the word "Alliance" so we know you’ve read the full posting, and include your PRC license number along with your availability for the schedule above.
