About Us
We're a US-based short-term rental property management company operating vacation homes in Florida. We host guests from around the world, and someone always needs to be there when they have a question — even at 1 AM on a Saturday.
The Role
We're hiring a part-time Guest Communications Specialist to handle guest messages on Saturday and Sunday evenings. You'll be the friendly voice greeting new arrivals, troubleshooting mid-stay issues, and making sure our guests have a smooth stay while our weekday team is offline.
This is a focused role: guest communications, and only guest communications. If you're warm, patient, quick on your feet, and comfortable working weekend evenings, this could be a great fit.
What You'll Do
Respond to guest inquiries across Airbnb, VRBO,
Handle check-in and check-out coordination
Troubleshoot common in-stay issues (WiFi passwords, appliance questions, lockbox codes, noise complaints)
Escalate genuine emergencies (property damage, safety issues, major maintenance failures) to the appropriate tea
Log issues clearly so the weekday team knows what happened over the weekend
Follow our messaging templates and SOPs, adjusting tone based on the guest
Who You Are
Excellent written English with a warm, friendly tone
Fast responder — most guest messages should be answered within 15 minutes during your shift
Calm under pressure — guests will occasionally be upset, tired, or confused
Comfortable with repetition — you'll answer the same questions many times
Reliable and punctual — when your shift starts, you're online
Comfortable with weekend evening hours long-term
Advantage if you already know: Hospitable, Airbnb Host Dashboard, VRBO,

A note on AI: Applications that use generic AI-generated responses will be removed immediately. They are not hard to spot. I use AI as a tool daily and I'm not against you doing the same — but if your application reads like ChatGPT wrote it with no personal voice, you're not the person I'm looking for.
