GoHighLevel Automation Specialist

Location: Remote — Philippines Preferred
Hours: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:00pm AEST

About Us

We are a specialist digital marketing agency working exclusively with trade businesses across Australia, including builders, electricians, plumbers, landscapers, pool builders and other service-based companies.

We are building a smarter, more automated agency and are looking for someone who can take ownership of our GoHighLevel systems, workflows and automations.

This is not a general administration role.

We need someone technical who enjoys building systems, solving workflow problems and finding smarter ways to use automation.

The Role

Your primary responsibility will be managing, building and improving our systems inside GoHighLevel.

You’ll work across client accounts and our internal agency systems to build automations, manage pipelines, connect tools and ensure everything works correctly from beginning to end.

You won’t just follow a checklist. You’ll be expected to understand the outcome we’re trying to achieve, recommend the best setup and build it.

Experience using ChatGPT, creating custom GPTs, coding with AI or building Claude Agents is highly regarded, but strong GoHighLevel experience is the most important requirement.

Core Responsibilities
GoHighLevel
Build and maintain GoHighLevel workflows and automations
Create and manage pipelines, opportunities and lead stages
Build forms, surveys, calendars and appointment workflows
Set up email and SMS nurture sequences
Create lead follow-up and reactivation automations
Manage triggers, tags, custom fields and segmentation
Build onboarding and internal notification workflows
Troubleshoot broken workflows and automation errors
Test every automation before it goes live
Maintain clean and accurate CRM data
Create snapshots and replicate systems across client accounts
Connect GoHighLevel with other software using integrations, webhooks, Zapier or Make
Document workflows and create clear SOPs
Recommend ways to make our systems faster, simpler and more reliable
AI and Advanced Automation — Bonus Skills

We would love to find someone who can also:

Use ChatGPT to solve technical and operational problems
Use AI tools to write or improve code
Create custom GPTs for internal and client use
Build Claude Projects or Claude Agents
Create AI-powered internal tools and workflows
Connect AI tools with GoHighLevel and other platforms
Use APIs, webhooks, JavaScript or other code where required
Research and test new AI tools that could improve the agency

You do not need to be an expert in every AI platform. However, you must be curious, technically confident and willing to learn.

This is a hands-on automation and systems role.

You will build the workflows, test the workflows and help us improve how the agency operates.

Essential Experience
Strong hands-on experience using GoHighLevel
Proven experience building workflows and automations from scratch
Experience managing pipelines, calendars, forms, triggers and nurture sequences
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to test systems thoroughly and identify errors
Strong attention to detail
Clear written English communication
Ability to document processes and create SOPs
Confidence working independently and taking ownership of a project
Experience working in a digital agency, online business or service-based company
Highly Regarded
Advanced GoHighLevel experience, including snapshots and SaaS configurations
Zapier or Make experience
API and webhook experience
Basic JavaScript, HTML or CSS skills
Experience coding or troubleshooting with ChatGPT
Experience creating custom GPTs
Experience building Claude Projects or Claude Agents
