JOB OVERVIEW

Full-Time Remote Position | Philippines

Host with Wander is hiring an experienced Short-Term Rental Operations Manager to support our growing portfolio of luxury vacation rentals and a possible boutique hotel in the future.

This is an operations role—not a general administrative VA position. We need someone who takes ownership, communicates well, solves problems, and follows tasks through completion.

Schedule

* Thursday through Sunday
* 10:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m. U.S. Eastern Time
* 40 hours per week
* Must be comfortable working overnight hours in the Philippines and consistently working weekends.

Responsibilities

* Oversee daily short-term rental operations.
* Communicate with cleaners, maintenance workers, and other vendors by text and phone.
* Schedule maintenance, update the maintenance log, and follow up until work is completed.
* Monitor guest communications and step in when HostBuddy AI cannot resolve an issue.
* Keep HostBuddy’s property information accurate and current.
* Create, update, and optimize listings on Airbnb, Vrbo, ---------- , Expedia, and our direct-booking website.
* Use Rankbreeze to monitor listing rankings and recommend improvements.
* Maintain property information, checklists, and SOPs in Google Workspace.
* Help manage tasks and deadlines during new property launches.
* Prepare a weekly report on revenue, occupancy, reviews, guest satisfaction, rankings, maintenance, and recommended improvements.
* Use Claude and other AI tools to analyze performance, improve processes, and work more efficiently.

Qualifications

* Short-term rental or vacation-rental management experience is required.
* Experience with Airbnb, Vrbo, or another booking platform.
* Experience working with a property management system.
* Excellent written and spoken English.
* Strong customer service, organization, and project-management skills.
* Able to manage multiple guest, vendor, and property issues at once.
* Proactive, dependable, and comfortable working independently.
* Strong interest in learning and adopting AI tools.

Experience with Hospitable, ---------- , Expedia, Rankbreeze, HostBuddy AI, direct-booking websites, or luxury rentals is helpful but not required.
