JOB OVERVIEW

We are a US-based media company that produces YouTube content at scale. We are opening a small, dedicated editing office in Cebu and we are looking for ONE strong manager to run it.

This is a people-and-operations job AND a hands-on editing job. You will run the room, and you will also edit.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Recruit and build a team of 3-5 video editors here in Cebu City
- Edit videos yourself as part of the regular workflow — not just oversee others
- Run the daily workflow: assign work, hold deadlines, keep quality consistent
- Train the team to our style and standards (we provide the system and the scripts)
- Manage the workspace, the equipment and attendance
- Report once a day to our team abroad — you are our person on the ground

THE 3-WEEK TARGET
What we mean by this: 3 weeks from your start date to having the office running with 3 editors actively working in it. That covers choosing the building, getting equipment set up, recruiting editors, and onboarding them — not 3 weeks until you personally walk through the door.

That said, quality matters more than hitting the number exactly. We would rather have week 4 with three good editors than week 3 with two good ones and one warm body rushed in to hit a deadline. The last two hires especially are judged on fit and quality, not just speed.

This is exactly why an existing network of editors in Cebu is a real advantage — recruiting from a cold start while also setting up an office in 3 weeks is genuinely difficult.

WHAT WE NEED
- 3+ years managing a team of people (BPO, agency, production house, or similar) — tell us the size of the team you ran
- Hands-on video editing skills — you will personally edit, not just review. Tell us what software you use and share a portfolio
- Based in Cebu City, or ready to relocate. This role is on-site, not remote
- Excellent English, written and spoken
- Comfortable with project management tools (ClickUp, Trello, Asana or similar)
- NBI clearance and at least 2 references we can actually call

NICE TO HAVE
- Recruiting or hiring experience
- Experience with YouTube content
- Experience working inside a seat-lease / BPO facility

WHAT WE OFFER
- PHP 55,000 - 70,000 per month depending on experience
