JOB OVERVIEW

Hiring for full-time work for a Capcut / TikTok editor

You will be making TikTok videos using Capcut. The editing process is fairly simple and straightforward. Anyone who is proficient in video editing should have no problem with the basic tasks such as:

• Cutting dead space in talking head videos
• Adding overlay images on screen in the videos
• Minor effects such as dynamic zoom, cropping, etc.
• Producing b-roll content from voiceover and footage provided, having the ability to digest what is being said and pair up the audio with corresponding footage.

Please review a few examples of my content to ensure you are familiar and comfortable with the editing style:

Basic talking head - here you are mostly editing dead space and piecing clips together, adding minor effects like crop and zoom to make the frames look more dynamic and seamless.

Talking head with overlays - same as before, but adding images provided to you on the screen to support what is being said in the video.

B-roll content - you will be provided a voice over and need to work through the footage to find fitting visuals. A strong understanding of English and social media content is crucial here. Below is a video of an example from another page.

You will be working hand in hand with me on my TikTok account and there is room for bonuses if deadlines are met and the content performs well!

Requirements:
• Attention to detail
• STRONG English
• Strong internet connection
• Previous experience of at least 6 months - 1 year with Capcut editing for social media (TikTok/Instagram)
• Good working with a team
• Ability to learn and take constructive feedback
• Availability to work 8 hours a day, 5-6 days per week (can take days off whenever as long as mostly consistent)
• Can take payments through Wise
• PH or similar time zone
• Ability to use ---------- (this how we will communicate everyday)

$640 USD/month + bonuses and potential for bonus and salary increase

Please complete the following steps:
1) Download the raw footage file from the Google drive and import into Capcut
2) Find the “good” takes of the audio sections and stitch together to complete the voiceover
3) Find the corresponding footage to match what is being said in the voiceover
4) Pay close attention to detail in the selection of the clips, the pacing (duration of each scene), cropping, etc.
5) Message me with a google drive link to the re-created video
