JOB OVERVIEW

Sola Kids Dental | Remote | $5 USD per Hour

Sola Kids Dental is hiring a full-time Dental Credentialing Specialist to manage provider credentialing, payer enrollment, recredentialing, directory updates, and payer follow-up across multiple dentists and practice locations.

This is not an entry-level virtual assistant, insurance verification, or general billing role. Applicants must have hands-on U.S. dental credentialing experience.

Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Pay: $5 USD per hour
Location: Remote

Required Experience
At least 1 year of U.S. healthcare or dental credentialing experience
Hands-on CAQH experience
Dental PPO enrollment experience
Experience submitting and tracking payer applications
Experience adding providers and practice locations
Experience following up with payers by phone, email, fax, and portal
Strong written English
Excellent organization and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and protect confidential information

Experience with SKYGEN/DentalHub, Medi-Cal Dental, EFT enrollment, or payers such as Delta Dental, Aetna, MetLife, Cigna, Guardian, UHC Dental, United Concordia, Anthem, GEHA, Ameritas, and Sun Life is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities
Collect and organize provider credentialing documents
Verify dental licenses, NPIs, malpractice insurance, DEA records when applicable, diplomas, CVs, and W-9s
Maintain CAQH profiles and coordinate attestations
Submit new-provider and new-location payer applications
Add providers to all assigned Sola Kids Dental locations
Track submissions, confirmation numbers, missing items, approvals, and effective dates
Follow up with payers approximately 30 days after submission when no response is received
Complete recredentialing requests, generally every two years
Review and update payer directories quarterly or biannually
Coordinate provider signatures through approved systems
Assist with SKYGEN/DentalHub delegation and applications
Support EFT and ERA enrollment
Maintain an accurate credentialing tracker
Provide weekly progress reports

Sola’s credentialing process generally takes 30–90 days from submission to approval and requires consistent tracking and follow-up.

This role involves sensitive provider information. You may not share passwords, save documents to personal accounts, subcontract the work, or upload confidential records to outside AI tools. Accuracy and confidentiality are mandatory.
