About us

Guidesource is a UK-based deal origination and market intelligence firm. We work behind the scenes for M&A advisory firms and acquisitive companies, identifying and approaching businesses that might be open to a sale. Our research team sits in the Philippines and works as part of the core business, not as overflow.

The role

You'll take lists of UK companies and find the person who actually makes decisions there — usually the managing director, owner or finance director — then verify how to reach them.

This is precision work. A wrong name or a bounced email means our client's outreach goes out looking careless, and their reputation is what we're protecting. We would much rather have 40 accurate records than 100 rough ones.

What you'll do
Identify decision-makers at UK small and mid-sized companies using Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and company websites
Find and verify business email addresses and direct dial numbers
Check company ownership and shareholder structure on Companies House, and flag anything already owned by a private equity firm or larger group
Confirm the person is still in the role — job titles go stale quickly
Keep records clean and consistent in Google Sheets
What we're looking for
Strong written and reading English — you'll be working through UK company filings and websites
Genuine attention to detail, and the discipline to mark a record "not found" rather than guessing
Experience with Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Lusha, Hunter or similar tools
Comfortable working independently once you know the brief
Reliable internet and a quiet place to work
Nice to have
Exposure to B2B lead generation, recruitment research or market research
Familiarity with Companies House or similar corporate registries

Details
Full-time, 35-40 hours per week, Philippine business hours
$500–700 USD per month depending on experience
Paid monthly, long-term contract, performance reviews at 3 and 12 months
Fully remote
