About EMPWR Electric
EMPWR Electric is a fast-growing residential and commercial electrical contractor serving the Greater Austin, Texas area. We're building a strong online brand and are looking for an experienced Social Media Manager who can help us create engaging content, grow our audience, and generate real business through social media.
This is not an entry-level position. We're looking for someone who understands both content creation and digital marketing strategy.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for managing and growing our online presence across multiple platforms, including:

Facebook
Instagram
TikTok
LinkedIn
YouTube (short-form content)
Responsibilities include:
Planning and managing a content calendar
Creating engaging Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok posts
Designing carousel posts and graphics
Editing short-form videos and Reels
Adding professional captions and subtitles
Creating engaging hooks and calls-to-action
Writing compelling captions and hashtags
Scheduling posts
Repurposing long-form videos into short-form content
Running and optimizing Facebook and Instagram advertising campaigns
Monitoring ad performance and making improvements
Growing engagement and audience organically
Recommending new content ideas and marketing strategies
Maintaining a consistent brand voice
Following creative direction while also bringing new ideas to the table
Required Skills

Facebook Ads Manager

Meta Business Suite
TikTok content strategy
LinkedIn content creation
Short-form video editing
Caption creation
Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
CapCut (or equivalent video editing software)
Basic graphic design
Copywriting
English fluency (written and spoken)
Preferred Experience
2+ years managing business social media accounts
Experience with home service companies (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, roofing, construction, etc.)
Demonstrated success growing business pages
Experience creating content that generates leads—not just likes
Understanding of branding and customer psychology
Familiarity with Google Business Profile content is a plus
