JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a creative, organized, and detail-oriented Social Media Content Editor to join Life of Sherell LLC.

This role is responsible for transforming raw content into engaging videos that reflect our brand and connect with our audience across multiple social media platforms.

The ideal candidate understands storytelling, pacing, trends, and how to create content that captures attention while maintaining a professional and consistent brand identity.

This is a long-term opportunity with room for growth.

Responsibilities

* Edit short-form videos for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
* Edit long-form YouTube videos and podcast content
* Create engaging captions and social media copy
* Add captions, transitions, music, sound effects, and graphics
* Repurpose one piece of content into multiple posts for different platforms
* Design graphics and promotional posts using Canva
* Organize video files and content libraries
* Schedule social media posts
* Assist with content planning and content calendars
* Stay up to date on social media trends
* Recommend creative ideas to improve engagement
* Ensure all content matches the Life of Sherell brand
* Meet editing deadlines while maintaining quality

* Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
* Canva
* Strong understanding of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
* Excellent English communication skills
* Strong attention to detail
* Creative storytelling ability

* Strong time management skills
